Welcome to Pennine Images, the web site of photographer Jefferson Hammond LRPS.

Whilst my main interest in photography tends to be black and white landscape work, particularly of the South Pennines landscape, the web site also displays a range of images representing my new and developing interests in social and documentary photography.

Although I have over twenty years experience of photographing the South Pennine landscape, as well as many other parts of the British Isles, I have no formal training and as such I am largely self-taught.

I have recently returned to photography after a break of several years and whilst my background has been in traditional black and white dark room work, I now work exclusively with digital capture and ink printing.

I am based in Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire.
